What is Shamanism?  Shamanic healing is one of the oldest forms of spiritual and holistic healing, with its roots tracing back thousands of years. Shamanism originated in indigenous cultures in various parts of the world. Though the specific practices and beliefs vary from one culture to another, the core elements remain the same. Shamans believe that everything is connected - people, nature and unseen energies.  Today, shamanic healing has evolved into a flexible practice that can be deeply spiritual, therapeutic, and transformative. It often resonates with individuals seeking holistic healing and spiritual growth.

Our approach.

There are times when we all need guidance and tools.

Trauma is different for everyone.  It can be a series of small situations, a frightening or painful event or feeling like we’re stuck and life is not moving in the way we desire . . .

When we experience  trauma, it’s common to feel lingering emotions like fear, sadness, or anxiety. Even as time passes, our brain can hold onto those feelings and react - especially when we are reminded of these experiences again, known as triggers.  When we are triggered, we have many reactions, the most common are avoidance, anger, defensiveness or rumination.

Trauma can present itself in many ways.

  • Negative thoughts

  • Chronic pain

  • Disease

  • Depression

  • Difficulty in managing/maintaining relationships

  • Addiction

  • Autoimmune disorder

  • Post traumatic stress disorder

Healing from trauma takes time and we often need guidance and tools. Over time, with the right help, the impact from trauma can lessen, and we can regain a sense of peace and control. This is what we call healing.

What is trauma?

Everyone can experience change if there is a willingness and desire.

Healing is a journey, and if there is a willingness and a desire to change how you might react, you will begin to see insights and changes unfolding over time.

  • Emotional release: Many people experience a release of pent-up emotions, which can lead to feelings of relief or catharsis.

  • Increased awareness: You may gain deeper insights into your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, helping you understand yourself better.

  • Physical sensations: Some report physical sensations like warmth, tingling, or a sense of energy moving through the body.

  • Relaxation and calm: Spiritual healing often leads to a deep sense of relaxation and inner peace.

  • Connection: You might feel a greater connection to yourself, others, or a higher power, fostering a sense of belonging.

  • Personal growth: Many people find that spiritual healing encourages personal growth, leading to changes in perspective or lifestyle.
